Neko Health raises $700m to accelerate preventative health expansion

Neko Health, the preventative health technology company founded by Spotify co-founder Daniel Ek and Hjalmar Nilsonne, announced a $700 million Series C funding round on 15 July 2026.

The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and co-led by O.G. Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors including Atomico, General Catalyst and Lakestar, alongside new investors. It followed a $260 million Series B completed in January 2025. Neko Health

Neko operates a consumer health model built around a one-hour, non-invasive health assessment combining proprietary scanning technology, blood analysis and clinician review. Its service also incorporates body-composition analysis and wearable data. Neko Health

At the time of the funding announcement, the company said more than 100,000 people in the UK and Sweden had completed a Neko Health Scan, with more than 350,000 people globally registered or on a waiting list. Neko also reported that 75% of first-time members booked and prepaid for another scan. Neko Health

The funding is being used to support expansion into the US and further investment in Neko’s technology and clinical infrastructure. The company opened its first New York clinic in September 2026, following a waitlist of more than 25,000 people. Neko Health

The significance of the investment is not simply the size of the round.

Neko is evidence of growing investor interest in consumer-facing preventative health, where diagnostics, technology, clinical services and repeat monitoring are combined into a single proposition.

For the aesthetics sector, the wider question is whether consumers increasingly begin to expect the same level of measurable, personalised health information alongside treatments focused on appearance and ageing.
